If the matching is not good, some holes will be found when analyzing the cross-section of the crimped terminal, which is unqualified. Sometimes in order to make up for such problems, a point is added on the top and bottom of the hexagon during design to enhance the compactness of the crimping and increase the pulling force.
The crimping force of this form is also very large, and the crimping must be realized through a special mold on the punching machine, so as to realize the precise controllability of the crimping height. In addition, some special terminals have 2 holes for crimping 2 wires. We can also achieve this by crimping a hexagon, but the upper and lower sides are longer.
