High-voltage interlocks are essential for user safety and safe vehicle operation. However, in the process of production and after-sales maintenance, the high-voltage interlock circuit will inevitably fail. In this paper, through the analysis of the principle, structure and main faults of the high-voltage interlock, the basic ideas and methods for the troubleshooting of the high-voltage interlock can be obtained.
The first is to check whether all high-voltage components and high-voltage wiring harness are assembled in place; then use a multimeter from the ECU side to check whether the wiring harness is connected, and check the continuity of the vehicle ground and 12 V power; Starting from the BMS low-voltage wiring harness end, use the “dichotomy” method to troubleshoot and quickly locate the fault point. It is important to note that in the process of troubleshooting, care must be taken to protect the terminals of the male and female terminals. During the measurement process, it is also necessary to pay more attention to the quality of the terminals of the male and female ends, in order to lock the final root cause of the fault as soon as possible.
