The assembly of the assembled wire harness mainly relies on manual work. In order to better reduce the risk of terminal assembly not being in place, the industry generally follows “one plug, two listens, and three pullbacks”. One plug refers to inserting the terminal, and the second refers to the Listen to the sound of the terminal being inserted in place. Pulling the terminal three times refers to pulling the terminal after it is inserted to see if the terminal comes out. An employee inserting the terminal thousands of times a day is prone to operating fatigue. In order to better allow employees to form muscle memory, we have made adjustments. : First, “pull” before the shift and “pull” during the break. The “pull” here refers to the setting of a pulling machine at the operating position. Before the start of the shift, and after the break, employees need to pull the dynamometer by hand to ensure the insertion of the employee. The strength forms muscle memory; the second is “look, insert two, listen three, pull back four”, adding “look” is to identify the terminal deformation, banana terminals, and ensure the correct direction of insertion when inserting.
