Wiring Harness Segmentation and Wiring Docking Platform Wiring harness segmentation and wire wiring docking are an important basis for the modularization of semi-finished products of wire harnesses and the platform of finished wire harness assemblies, and are also the main cost source of vehicle wiring harnesses. The number of wiring harnesses between the vehicle wiring harness assemblies can reach 19 pairs. Reasonable wiring harness segmentation and wiring wiring planning will help control the cost of the wiring harnesses of the vehicle, and realize the reuse of wiring harnesses across models and configurations. In addition to considering the assembly and modularization requirements of the whole vehicle, the wiring harness segmentation also needs to take into account the cost of the wiring harness and the generalization rate of the assembly. Through joint review with manufacturing and process boards, wiring harness segmentation is minimized.
