Generally, two different voltage drop test operations are carried out according to the wire diameter of 5mm² as the dividing line.
• When the wire diameter > 5mm square
From the high-voltage wiring harness assembly parts, destructively cut a 250mm long sample based on the terminal. Strip the sample.
According to different wire diameters, connect the current value shown in the table below between test points A and B. After the test is completed, cut out three small samples of the wire from the sample, and measure the voltage drop of the three short samples, and take the average value. The voltage drop between BC is measured and subtracted from the average voltage drop of the short samples to obtain the final value of the voltage drop in the crimp area.
