When the wiring harness passes through the hole, it must be protected with a threading sheath (if there is no suitable threading sheath, it can be replaced by a bellows or black rubber, but it must be fixed firmly so that it does not fall off), and the hole passing through the body should be filled with sealant gaps to prevent dust from entering the interior of the compartment.
When the wiring harness passes through corners and edges, it should be covered with rubber or floor leather for protection. When using floor leather for protection, use the same or similar color as the surrounding color in places that are easy to see such as leaks or open hatches.
When vehicles are mass-produced, if there are work instructions, first of all, the requirements of the work instructions should be strictly followed. If there is no work instruction, during installation, the consistency of production should be ensured from the aspects of wiring harness fixing position, fixing method, and number of fixing points.
The installation and layout of the wiring harness should avoid high temperature (exhaust pipe, air pump, etc.), moisture-prone (lower engine area, etc.), and corrosion-prone areas (battery base area, etc.).
