This change in the density of the magnetic lines of force passing through the Hall element causes a change in the Hall voltage, which outputs a quasi-sinusoidal voltage on the order of millivolts. This voltage is converted into a standard pulse voltage signal by the waveform conversion circuit and input to the ECU. The millivolt-level sine wave voltage output by the Hall sensor is amplified into a volt-level sine wave signal voltage through an amplifier, and the sine wave signal is converted into a standard pulse signal in a Schmitt trigger, which is amplified and output by the amplifier.
