Shield design
Shielding is the most straightforward way to create an electromagnetic barrier between two areas to protect the circuits in your system from damage by the electromagnetic environment. Two shielding methods can be adopted: first, active shielding; second, passive shielding.
Materials used for shielding include: copper, aluminum and magnesium and other good conductive materials (for high-frequency electric field shielding) and iron and nickel-iron high magnetic permeability alloys (for low-frequency magnetic field shielding).
filter design
Shielding is mainly to solve radiated interference, while filtering is mainly to solve the interference caused by conduction
The component that completes the filtering action is called a filter. The filter mainly suppresses the interference entering directly through the circuit path, and it is the most common anti-interference method.
According to the frequency difference between the signal and the interference signal, filters with different performances can be used to suppress the interference signal and improve the signal-to-noise ratio.
Although the high-voltage wiring harness is a passive device, the entire high-voltage AC system has strong electromagnetic interference, and the wiring harness parts, as the connection path between the power supply, electrical equipment, and ground (ie, the body), are exactly the “electromagnetic interference” of the vehicle. important route of transmission”.
At the same time, low-voltage wiring harnesses, especially low-voltage communication wiring harnesses, are also one of the parts that are greatly affected by electromagnetic interference.
