Before crimping terminals in batches, adjust the crimping height of the crimping die and use a screw micrometer to measure the crimping parameters to meet the standard requirements. Adopting the crimping standard has the following advantages: ●The parameter measurement is convenient and accurate; ●The adjustment time of the crimping die is saved; ●The wire and terminal raw materials are saved.
Figure 7 shows the measurement method of the crimp height of the terminal copper wire. For terminals without special jaws or special crimping dies, the pull-out force of the terminals should be tested to meet the standard requirements. During the terminal crimping operation, whether it is to measure the crimp height and width of the crimped copper wire, or to measure the pull-off force value, the first, middle and last inspections should be made during batch operation, and the corresponding inspection records should be made.
