For the water ingress hazard caused by the siphon effect, strict requirements must be made on the tightness of the wiring harness interconnection point and the grounding point itself. The most effective method is to use a heat-shrinkable tube with glue for sealing.
Heat shrinkable tube is a special polyolefin material heat shrinkable tube with high temperature shrinkage, soft flame retardant, insulation and anti-corrosion functions, with a withstand voltage level of 600 V, used for the insulation protection of wire harness connection points, solder joints and inductors. The glued heat-shrinkable tube is a double-walled heat-shrinkable tube. The outer layer is made of high-quality polyolefin alloy, and the inner layer is made of hot-melt adhesive. Compared with ordinary heat-shrinkable tubes, it has increased waterproof sealing and anti-corrosion functions.
The shrinkage ratio is 3:1, 4:1, the shrinkage temperature is between 70 and 125 °C, and the operating temperature is -40 to 125 °C.
