In most practical use scenarios, the heating rate of high-power discharge battery modules is very fast. Especially in the high temperature environment in summer, when the battery temperature exceeds the upper limit, the battery capacity and output performance will decrease, and even battery swelling and bulging will occur. Therefore, it is necessary to monitor the temperature change of the battery through the BMS to prevent the battery from overheating. The BMS system maintains the temperature of the battery pack within a reasonable range by suppressing the charging current and output current, and starting the cooling system, such as speeding up the cooling fan speed, increasing the opening and closing angle of the coolant valve, and so on, preventing thermal runaway.
