Thermal management/monitoring of battery temperature
The ideal operating temperature of the general battery pack is 0°C~35°C, and the maximum operating temperature is 60°C. When the battery temperature is lower than the lower limit temperature, the battery cannot work normally, which not only causes the vehicle to fail to start normally, but also damages the battery itself. The low temperature discharge of the battery will cause the battery electrolyte activity to decrease, the electrical conductivity to be poor, and the discharge capacity to be poor. If the battery is forcibly charged at low temperature, it will also cause the problem of lithium deposition in the negative electrode and permanent damage to the capacity. Therefore, when the temperature of the power battery is low, the battery needs to be heated indirectly through the heater.
