● Cause Analysis
The conductor back strand is mainly manifested in the case that the surface of the wire is wrapped or dented after extrusion. The reasons are as follows:
Equipment tension: When the conductor is produced, multiple monofilaments are twisted together by a stranding machine. If the pay-off tension of the stranding machine is unstable, or the pay-off tension between each monofilament is inconsistent, resulting in The tensile force of each monofilament is also inconsistent, and the monofilament with small force is easy to jump out of the original conductor’s stranded position, which is manifested as a back strand.
● Splitting: The monofilament has a splitting board before it enters the wire harnessing machine. If the monofilament is not split according to the arrangement rules, it will cause irregular arrangement and loose twisting, which will eventually lead to the conductor not being rounded or backed. Strands and jumping wires will affect the extrusion process.
