Overload/short circuit protection design for high voltage equipment
When the high-voltage accessory equipment of the car is overloaded or the line is short-circuited, the relevant high-voltage circuit should be able to automatically cut off the power supply to ensure that the high-voltage accessory equipment is not damaged and ensure the safety of the car and the driver and passengers. Therefore, overload or short-circuit protection components should be provided in the design of high-voltage systems. For example, fuses and contactors should be set in the relevant circuits. When overload or short-circuit occurs and the fuse or contactor is short-circuited, the high-voltage management system will pass the contactor contacts. The high-voltage management system will issue an audible and visual alarm to remind the driver if a related circuit fault is detected.
