During installation, whether flange, rubber pipe or direct connection is used between the air filter and the engine intake pipe, they must be tight and reliable to prevent air leakage. Rubber gaskets must be installed on both ends of the filter element; the air filter cover must be fixed. The wing nut should not be over-tightened, so as not to crush the paper filter element.
