Hydraulic Integral Power Steering Gear
At present, the rotary valve type integral power steering gear is used almost without exception on domestic cars. The rack-and-pinion mechanical steering gear, the steering power cylinder and the control valve are designed into one body to form an integral power steering gear.
The steering power cylinder piston is integrated with the mechanical steering gear. The piston divides the steering power cylinder into left and right chambers. The steering control valve is assembled at the lower end of the mechanical steering gear. The rotation of the steering shaft controls the working state of the steering control valve. The steering control valve is a slide valve or a rotary valve.
The impeller pump is driven by the engine, the steering control valve is installed at the lower end of the steering column, the right end of the rack is equipped with a power cylinder, and the cylinder is divided into two working pressure chambers. The oil storage tank is connected to the impeller pump through the suction pipe, and the control valve is connected to the oil return pipe. The pressure line leads from the control valve to the impeller pump.
