Binocular stereo vision has a wide range of applications, and can be used in ADAS-related safety applications such as front vehicle detection and collision avoidance, lane deviation, sign recognition, pedestrian detection, etc., as shown in Figure 1 below. That is, a new dimension (object depth/distance) is established through the novel binocular concept, which provides a new idea and extended application in the field of automotive safety, and can more easily identify the target object, so as to facilitate early entry into autonomous driving in the field. And it can cooperate with the design of the optical focal length, so that the distance of the recognized object can reach another level of improvement, and it can open up the market for future vehicles.
