Single-server virtualization, multi-system, multi-tenant, cross-mixing of multi-cluster systems in all data centers
As we said before, systems are divided into four categories. Compared with intelligent terminal systems, the biggest features of cloud and edge data center systems are virtualization and servitization. The biggest difference between data center servers and terminal equipment systems is:
First, multi-system and multi-tenant coexistence on a single hardware platform is achieved through virtualization. The hardware platform needs to support virtualization and high scalability, and provide multiple personalized virtual hardware platforms. Then it needs to support multiple different or even disparate software systems, running on their own independent virtual hardware platforms.
On the other hand, if the terminal system is regarded as a single system, then the data center server is a mixed operation of multiple systems. In this way, we can define a system running on a server that supports virtualized multi-system and multi-tenant operation as a macro system.
