Linear optocouplers are mainly used for the transmission of analog signals, and the output is equivalent to a variable resistor. It is very common in switching power supplies, using optocouplers as feedback to isolate high voltage and low voltage. Commonly used are PC817, PS2561, PS2801. As the previous example is also commonly used for switching signals.
The linear optocoupler inside the switching power supply, the output voltage of the switching power supply is isolated by the linear optocoupler and fed back to the control chip to achieve the purpose of adjusting the output voltage in real time.
