The result in EB is always a “smoothed” clean 2D graph, but all inclusive: all logic and connections to individual objects are stored as “background knowledge” in the data model. The production department can also obtain all relevant information from it, including wire lengths and protective materials, etc., so that these different fields of expertise can be consolidated through EB.
An important work step in the design process is working with suppliers, EB can also consistently pass on its digital data to external parties (eg: wire harness manufacturers) at every stage of the design.
