Multi-core shielding refers to wrapping multiple wires in a single shield, which is larger and less flexible than single-core shielding, but this simplifies wiring and connections. Multiconductor shielding is most commonly used in auxiliary connectors.
Bundled shields are shielded with an outer braid. Similar to multi-conductor shielding, bundled shielding is not as widely used as single-conductor shielding due to size, weight and flexibility disadvantages, however, depending on wire length and application, it can provide superior shielding performance at a low cost.
