Heat is the biggest obstacle to fast charging. The greater the current flowing through the conductor, the more heat is generated. At present, many OEMs have issued standards that require charging sockets to continuously provide 500A of DC current, and in the future, 800A or even more current in a short period of time. Unless properly managed, the heat from such a large current can cause damage to components.
