100Base-Tx
The 100 sign indicates that the transmission rate is 100Mbit/s, and the base sign uses baseband transmission; T indicates the transmission medium, 2 to 5 UTP.
100BASE-TX uses the 4B/5B encoding method, that is, each 4-bit data is represented by a 5-bit encoding group, and the symbol utilization rate of this encoding method=4/5*100%=80%. Then encode 4B/5B into NRZI for transmission, so that it can transmit data in a 125MHz serial data stream
The physical topology used by 100BASE-TX is a star. In the current networking method, the most used network card is the 100BASE-TX standard network card, which only supports the RJ-45 standard, which is mostly used in the backbone network.
