All engineering teams benefit from shorter lead times during the engineering and manufacturing phases. Longer lead times give the team more time to find issues, identify appropriate routing changes, and implement those changes into the design for the next verification phase. So how can this lead time be shortened? By eliminating manual steps and automatically passing information from one step to another step by step (Figure 4). This will drastically reduce errors and reduce the need to verify the results of your work. The goal is to create a seamless integration between the toolchains of vehicle manufacturers and suppliers.
