The layout area of the vehicle wiring harness can be roughly divided into three parts: the chassis area, the engine compartment area and the inner compartment area. Taking traditional fuel vehicles as an example, the engine compartment environment is the worst, followed by the chassis area, and the interior compartment has the best relative environment and is mostly a static area. For the promotion and application of 0.13mm2 wire, it is recommended to use it in the inner cabin area. In the production process, only the terminal selection and ultrasonic welding requirements need to be considered. In the chassis and engine compartment areas, additional consideration should be given to waterproof, dustproof and sports areas. It is recommended to gradually promote the use in the chassis area and engine compartment area when the supplier’s equipment investment and complete vehicle test are relatively complete.
When the alloy wire is applied in the vibration area of the whole vehicle, it is recommended to do a vibration test in the prototype stage to verify the mechanical strength of the wire and avoid the wire breakage in the subsequent sports car or in the high and low temperature environment.
