The distributor is located on the upper part of the distributor. The distributor cover is made of bakelite, with a central socket in the middle, surrounded by side sockets equal to the number of cylinders, and a copper sleeve is embedded in the socket. The high-voltage wire drawn from the high-voltage terminal of the ignition coil is inserted into the central jack, and the high-voltage wires drawn from the surrounding side jacks are respectively connected to the insulating electrodes of the spark plugs of each cylinder according to the firing sequence. The center electrode made of carbon is installed in the pit on the lower part of the copper sleeve of the center jack, and is in close contact with the conductive sheet on the splitter head by means of a spring. The sub-fire head is made of bakelite, which is sleeved on the top of the camshaft and rotates synchronously with the cam. When the contacts of the breaker are separated, the conductive sheet of the split flame is just opposite to the side electrode under a side jack. There is a gap of 0.25-0.8mm between the conductive sheet and the side electrode to prevent the spark plug from leaking due to pollution, resulting in flashover and voltage drop, which also brings convenience to processing and manufacturing.
