The ECU involved in the test is a physical object, and all external signals required for the ECU operation are provided in real time by the HiL device. At the same time, the HiL device completes the ECU. The real-time simulation of operating conditions is shown in Figure 3. Through the HiL test, unreasonable logic and mismatched parameters in the ECU operation algorithm, as well as the problem that the ECU does not meet the regulatory requirements and the electromagnetic compatibility standard can be found before the real vehicle test, and then the algorithm software and ECU hardware can be rectified in time, so as to Shorten the product development cycle, reduce the economic investment in product development, and reduce the probability of risks arising from real vehicle testing.
