Production planning
Goal: Determine the adoption of the production system, the number of workers required per shift, the number of production lines, the personnel per line and the rate at which each part number is produced.
● The design of the wire harness determines that it should be assembled with a rotating wire or a static plate.
● 6 boards should be static boards
● Rotary line is used for more than 6 boards
● The fixture on the static plate usually uses an electrical measuring fixture
● Compared with the rotating line, the static board production line is more difficult to control, but it is more flexible in the case of engineering changes, increased production and personnel absence.
● Usually, the manufacturing department uses a rotating line more efficiently than a static plate
● Rotary wire is recommended for large wire or wire harness with high standard working hours
● the widest is 4 feet, the longest is 16 feet
● Make full use of offline pre-installation to reduce the workload on the rotating line.
