Transformer and PWM Control Circuit
PC power supplies are generally equipped with three transformers: the largest one is the marked main transformer, whose primary side is connected to the switch tube, and the secondary side is connected to the rectifier circuit and filter circuit, which can provide the low-voltage DC output of the power supply (+ 12V, +5V, +3.3V, -12V, -5V).
The smallest transformer load +5VSB output is usually also a standby transformer, which is always in a “standby state”, because this part of the output is always on, even when the PC power is off.
