Recirculating brake pressure regulator
In this form of brake pressure regulator, a solenoid valve is connected in series between the master brake cylinder and the wheel cylinder to directly control the brake pressure of the wheel cylinder. The characteristic of this pressure regulation system is that the brake pressure oil circuit and the ABS control pressure oil circuit are connected. The brake pressure of the wheel cylinder is directly controlled by the solenoid valve. The three-position three-way solenoid valve and the two-position two-way solenoid valve are mostly used. Under the control of the ECU, the solenoid valve is placed in three positions of “pressure boosting”, “pressure maintaining” and “pressure reduction”.
