The segmented design of the wiring harness must meet the premise of easy assembly, and try not to add too many processes to the final assembly. for example:
● For different areas of the whole vehicle, the assembly method can be adopted, such as the door line, the instrument panel line, etc.; at the same time, it is best to consider that the assembly can be completed without using special tools.
● Consider the modular assembly of large assemblies as much as possible to improve the assembly speed of the production line. For example, the transmission wiring harness and the engine wiring harness are assembled to the transmission and the engine body respectively, and then assembled to the chassis as a whole.
● If the diameter of the wire harness is too large, enough space should be reserved when it needs to be bent at a certain angle. For the trunk branch, the bending radius of the wire harness is generally required to be greater than twice the diameter of the wire harness, so as not to affect the assembly of the wire harness if the bending space is too small.
● Do not pull the wiring harness too tightly when assembling the wiring harness (especially when the wiring harness is arranged horizontally), to avoid the moving vehicle in a bumpy state, causing the position of the fixed point of the wiring harness to shift, resulting in an instantaneous increase in the distance between the two fixed points, thereby lengthening The wiring harness causes the internal contact of the wiring harness to be pulled/virtually connected, the wire parameters change, and even the wire is broken.
● The wiring harness and its components should leave a safe space for the tightening tool, with a clearance of at least 50mm from the center of the nut.
